It turned out that her parents had been from farming stock in the west of Ireland, and they sent all their kids for elocution training as soon as they family moved to Dublin. But since the first step was not put forth I suggest writing a formal letter to the parents apologizing. A video such as the one described can put a lot of fear into children and may not have been a wise choice from you. Low pressure on new boiler?

Had a new boiler fitted last monday, it's a Glow worm flexicom 18sxi. Everything was working fine till that evening, then the pressure dropped, boiler reading 0.4 bar, called someone out and they topped up the pressure. This kept happening all the time, so had new radiators, pipes hot and cold water tanks fitted yesterday, "apparently" this kept happening because there was a slow leak, even though there was no visible sign of a leak, could of been under the floorboards. All was fine until this afternoon when the same problem happened again, called the council out and all what they could do was top up the pressure till Monday. But not long after they left the pressure dropped and the boiler read fault F9. Now i really don't understand what is happening, the person from the council who came up today said there could be a slow leak under the hot water tank, or pipes, but all the pipes and radiators are visible and there is no sign of water. I've been looking around on the net and there's many people in the same situation and there response it maybe there's a leak or air lock in the boiler. As I can't call the people out who fitted it till Monday i just wanted to know if there's anyone out there who can give me some idea of what it sounds like to them, as it's a mystery to me! Thanks

Question about feeding?

okay so i am due end of April beginning of may. This is my second child but with my daughter i did not feed! Sometime in August my fiance and I have a trip planned to Vegas. This will be my first time going. Now obviously Vegas means you go to have a good time... however I am concerned because we have decided I will feed. We will be gone 2 night 3 days, so i would have to pump enough for the baby which is fine. I'm more worried about consuming alcohol and then coming back to feed. I have soo many opinions on this... some say yea as long as i detox myself a day or two before i feed again, some say they aren't sure.... oh then of course i have the perfect moms that say "oH drinking is soo bad for you period, i cannot believe you would drink that soon after having a baby" okay so call me and imperfect mom! we have had our trip planned for over a year! its for a friends b day! so its not like im like hey lets go party in Vegas! besides I have a 4 year old and i never do anything! so this will be like the first time we get to do something without the kids! soo does anyone know how long i have to detox, or if i can do this or what? if your a judgmental mother that believes in the NO FUN AT ALL after you have kids... do not respond! im sure there are mothers out there who are realistic and live in the real world!! thanks ladies!

I don't agree with it. I can understand it . Camping promoted a ludicrous theory and deceived several people into making decisions which have ruined their lives. Hatred is an understandable reaction to having been deceived into having faith in something. I hate to say this, but the only safe way to thaw it (besides in the fridge which you've done already :) is to keep cool running water on it. The issue is bacteria growth in the portions that are already thawed. Anything above 40deg. will start to grow bacteria, and the quickest way to thaw really is to keep running water over it, rather than soaking it, anyway. :/

Damn, I wish I knew what to tell you, but I stopped smoking cigarettes and now stress is driving me crazy. I do know this -- the longer you go without smoking the less stressed-out you'll feel when you don't smoke -- some of the stress is due to addiction. 7 month old with white spots on insides of lips?

I took my daughter to see her doctor yesterday because I noticed some white spots on the insides of her lips. They look like very tiny blisters and also like dry skin. The doctor took a look at it and said it may just be the weather but wants me to keep an eye on it for now. She doesn't seem too concerned about it but I am still trying to figure out what it could be. I agree with her that it MAY be the weather but at the same time I'm wondering if it could be from her pacifier? Within the past 3 weeks she's taken to her pacifier quite well, so well, she has to have it in her mouth almost constantly. With my first two pregnancies, negatives up until 16 DPO (the second pregnancy did end in early miscarriage, the first in a full-term boy). We actually do not know exactly everything about Rizal except of course what is written in the books. A ladies man I should say, can speak 12 languages. Front end shimmy on '87 Honda Prelude?

The front end of my car shimmies mildly when driving down the highway. Mostly between 60-70mph. It is pretty bad when braking from that speed and the worst right around 40mph. I was told by a friend of mine that I should balance and rotate the tires first and maybe get an alignment because it does pull some to the right (not when braking but just driving in general). I've had my tank set up for about 7 months now. I have a 29 gal with 1 albino rainbow shark, 2 angel fish, 3 mickie mouse platies, 5 gold danios and an albino bristle nose sucker. Today my albino rainbow shark disappeared. I've looked everywhere, even moving a couple rocks just to make sure he didn't get stuck. I've looked in the filter, in my sink and on the floor (where he would have fallen if he jumped) but cant find him anywhere! No heating in my house.My landlord will not spend money upgrading or repairing the boiler.?

I moved into my private rented property with my three children under 6 years old in January. I rent from a leading estate agent. When we moved into the property we complained that there was no heating upstairs. There is an an old boiler that throws heat out in the front room only. They did send a contractor around and he advised me that he had already informed the landlord that he should replace the boiler. However, the landlord has informed me that he thinks the property gets hot enough when the heating is on and does not want to spend any more money on the property. The house is so cold that my children refuse to sleep upstairs. There is no double glazing which does not help. I am concerned for the coming winter. I was not made aware of the problem before I signed the tenancy agreement. I have been told if I end the tenancy agreement before the agreed date, that they will keep my deposit. Is this right? can a landlord let a property out to a family with no heating upstairs and deduct my deposit if I end the tenancy earlier because it is simply too cold to stay in the property? Also, just to mention the property was a real mess, I had to pay storage to re house my belongings whilst I sought permission to clear rubbish ETC from the property. here's a thought, what if all the leader's of the world were women, and the men supported what they said, and i think we could get several things accomplished without war, because we don't like to feel the pain of children losing their fathers and women being without husbands more than we care who makes the most money on oil, and think we wouldn't share the love of all things good with the men to protect us from certain disasters that happen naturally without having to create our own? and i think women have been overlooked as having equal authority as far back as it goes almost for most people, and places, and even Jesus said that women should be given more authority, and you want to know why? because if you have sit down and listen to a group of women discuss issues you will see us go from what do you think of giving so and so a time out because he cannot get along to get along, (and have the men enforce it), to the weather, and does everyone have enough food, and clothes, and heat to make it through the winter, to what are you having for dinner, and is aunt mae feeling better and make sure she has enough help while she gets her rest to how are we going to get the kids to practice, and get all these different issues organized, enforced, find men to help when we can't always handle it, and accomplished in a matter of 30 minutes while eating lunch, while the men at the next table are still arguing over the best fishin, and wonder if billy bob really caught as big a fish as he said, before it got away, and talk and argue about nothing else, and doubt, and not even figure the best fishin, in 30 minutes..so all i m saying, is honestly things can only get better if we flip some equal authority to the women to lead, and the men to enforce what we agree on for the love of all things good..and blessed are the peacemaker's we will be called children of God..so this is a little input on what i think about this article i read..so how is this for discussion, and in case you didn't know, i m a female, and ready to tell someone a thing or two, and have a few good men back me up..you in?

ok first of all if the timing belt was slipping it wouldn't run......it more likely is the alternator belt.......replace it........the exhaust noise is probably a hole in the muffler......needs to be found and repaired or replaced........the stalling in park sounds like a torque converter going out.....a transmission shop can diagnose that for you.....good luck!!!

Will neutering my 4 year old Pomeranian calm him down?

We have kept him intact for breeding reasons, but he has been diagnosed with black skin diseases (which is hereditary) so we cant breed him. The problem is he marks on everything, barks constantly, and is showing signs of aggression. Will any of these behaviors stop with neutering? We have been dealing with them for years now, because we wanted to stud him out. I have been told that these behaviors will not stop because of his age. How is dialysis tubing a good model for a cell membrane and a bad model?

My 8th grade bio cl created a model of a cell membrane using dialysis tubing. We filled it with a stock solution of sugar,salt,water,and starch. We placed it in a beaker of distilled water. After 20 mins. we tested the beaker solution for traces of the stock solution. The tests showed that the cell membrane let everything diffuse but the starch. Now i understand why this all happens I'm just struggling on how dialysis tubing is a good model for a cell membrane , and a bad one. Any help would be appreciated!
