Help with thawing partially frozen turkey?

I hate to say this, but the only safe way to thaw it (besides in the fridge which you've done already :) is to keep cool running water on it. The issue is bacteria growth in the portions that are already thawed. Anything above 40deg. will start to grow bacteria, and the quickest way to thaw really is to keep running water over it, rather than soaking it, anyway. :/
