Why are some people seemingly jubilant about Harold Camping having a stroke?

I don't agree with it. I can understand it . Camping promoted a ludicrous theory and deceived several people into making decisions which have ruined their lives. Hatred is an understandable reaction to having been deceived into having faith in something. I think putting the blame off in this way is to say you are not responsible for your own decision making ; but then taking responsibility is not a feature of those who take up this sort of religious movement. Most are looking for someone to take over this for them and for them to behave like children.
