Urinary tract infection is often caused by poor hydration. Cats on dry food don't get enough water. Canned food usually provides more balanced nutrition and hydration. Try adding a tablespoon of water to about half a can of wet food and mash it up smoothly. My cat is sometimes finicky about food, but making this "soup" with water and canned wet food has always worked. Tuna for humans does not have all the nutrients necessary for cats. Try "Tuna for cats" available at Trader Joe's.
