Have any of you moms maid a quilt from baby clothes/blankets/items?

Someone gave me an idea of taking some of our favorite baby clothes/items that my daughter has outgrown and making a quilt out of them. I think it would be a great way to hold onto these things and yet still have them be useful. Anyways, I have never made anything like that, I have NO CLUE how to even begin!?!? Has anyone done this? Can you give me any helpful hints advice? Any good websites with information?? Thank you :)
