Do you think space exploration is important?Is it worth the billions our government spend?

Well, if we can manage to travel to different solar systems, we might be able to save our species when the Earth finally reaches it's end. If we don't manage to wipe each other out by that point. So yes, it's important to the survival of the species. But I personally don't see how collecting rocks or sending rich people to space is helping anything.
