What type of wireless router do I need?

Straightforward: I know nothing about computers. I just got Hughes net internet through satellite. What type of wireless router do I need? I want wifi for my ipod and for my sisters laptop when she is home. Does it matter which type I get? I want to buy one on ebay. If you could link some good deals of what I need that would be extra good. Thanks.
