That's a game of secrecy and intelligence. What the public knows is always the opposite of what the government is doing. Questioning the official version implies conspiracy. Everyone knows there was conspiracy but no one knows to what extent and secrecy will keep it like that. You are taking political advantage of what is kept secret as if were fact when it is secret.
