Pain in forearm appears to be ociated with the supinator?

3 months ago a family member hurt her right forearm while lifting and positioning a heavy toddler. The pain is extensive enough that it keeps her from performing normal daily activities, even as small as using a computer mouse, and causes pain while typing. During isometric contractions, the sharpest pain comes in ociation with supination of her right hand. Though she has been to a chiropractor, the pain has steadily grown worse. I suppose going to a PT would be the next step.. any thoughts/recommendations?
