Can saltwater drained from my swimming pool be harmful to my dog?

I have a saltwater purification system for my swimming pool, which I will be draining soon in order to level the pool. I have a large landscaped area where I want to direct the water, as vegetation is killed by the saltwater; however, I don't want to kill my dog. Is the saltwater (.3%) harmful if ingested?
