Anyone remember a band called Chicks?

Can anyone remember an Irish indie band called Chicks, from around '97/98, they were popular with now defunct music weekly Melody Maker, and i think they were on one of the music papers tours. 3 girls, power trio, all about 15/16 yrs old, had a couple of EP's out, one of which was Chicks, Cars & Guns but in spanish, so it was something like chico's pistolas etc
